Gina Cerimele is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing psychotherapy to individuals and couples since 1993. Being part of helping thousands of people release old patterns and finally see themselves as deeply worthy of love and care is one of the biggest honors of her life.

She is profoundly grateful to have answered her heart’s desire to birth The Verdant Soul in order to facilitate healing beyond the therapy room.

Gina lives with her family in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She is a proud Indiana University mom, and loves attending rock, jazz and blues concerts with her husband, Chris. Her passions include gardening, cooking, and welcoming friends and family into her home.

Watercolor painting is Gina's newest hobby and she is relishing the bittersweet joy of being a beginner all over again.

I guess you could say that I am a natural fit for my chosen profession.

I have always been the kind of person that people turned to for support. In fact, I wrote a self help column in the school newspaper when I was in the sixth grade. From there I found myself fascinated by how our lives are shaped by our experiences, and how resilient we are. I truly enjoyed the work of earning my degrees.

Over the past 25 years my work as a therapist has been informed not only by my education and continuing studies, but also by my participation in contemplative prayer and mindfulness practices. Additionally, I maintain an active relationship with my own therapist to nurture a high level of emotional wellness.

It is important to me that I practice what I preach.

My desire to offer healing services outside the scope of psychotherapy

has led me to create The Verdant Soul where I can offer retreats, workshops, meditation circles, sound bath experiences, and other live events.

Be sure to stay connected!
